2011 marks my return to figurative art with a collection of drawings that I have called "Los Caprichos", alluding to the series of engravings by the Spanish artist Francisco de Goya. I am interested in recovering the ironic, sarcastic and casual spirit with characters or entities without identity. I believe that society is contained in them. The pairing of forms and "nonsense" underlines the Baroque idea of the loss of limits.
On the other hand, the digital techniques have served me to emphasize the semiotic power of the image. The post-photographic series seek to challenge the viewer, trying to play with what he knows and not with what he sees.
